2/9/2017 11:05:52 AM Well, the recent NUGT trade was not driven by my filters, but was discretionary on my part. I did get a short NUGT signal last night (which today worked out beautifully). I am still working on better discipline in my trading, as I should really stick to my tested systems more religiously. |

2/9/2017 11:46:51 AM ha well, I have seen you keep DUST for a 4 day swing. I get out way too fast. most of the time I get out the same day but had original intent to keep it a week. Separate note--have you found a VIX system you like that takes in consideration contango and backwardation? I'm testing one right now. |

2/9/2017 1:31:55 PM I don't think the contango system that Kevin had is complete on its own. You give a lot back on entry and the back end. But I can see using it in conjunction wit other indicators. But it's not bad. I don't have my own system. |

2/9/2017 1:47:41 PM agree...that is why I asked. Kevin's system wasnt really a system because it did not take into consideration those two elements. If I find a good system I will let you know. I am still intrigued around trading the VIX daily and weekly. |

2/9/2017 2:26:24 PM Pt, look at every time Xiv was at top bollinger with top Acc. BAND, it bounced back down to the mid line. There is a touch in late Dec. that hasn't reverted yet. Not saying it will but that's enough to keep me off of Xiv. it could go to 46... But nothing is certain. If you have the ballz, you can either SHORT Xiv or go long Tvix Vxx. |
