DPTR may have bottomed ...... for the record I am in this and taking a beating... the good news is the price to book is $7.00 they own a ton of drilling rights... its funny the more I hold a bad trade the more I find out about that company... I did know the price to book before entering the trade... they had some bad news, some well was a dry hole hence the selloff....

Eman, do not do that. It is the older than dust trader’s trap. When a trade is not working for you, get the hell out. Run, don’t walk. Your trading deamonds are wispering into your ears now giving you every justification to stay in a bad trade. Do you hear these voices? “ Look at the debt ratio, look at this, look at that. I can’t loose on this one, it is rock sold fundamentally” You may get lucky and the stock actually turning your way some times. But if you adapt this method, it will only be a matter of when - not if – you will overstay a loosing trade that will destroy your account. Don’t boil yourself alive like a frog. With every dime down, pulling the trigger gets harder and harder. If your stop was hit, just get out. I wrote this to myself in my trading journal few years ago when I had to rebuild my account from the ground up again. Don’t learn the hard way. Wish you best of luck

Walid: sounds like he DID get out of that trade (at a dime loss). Just what you were suggesting.

I have been fighting between too tight a stop and too loose...... If I use the previous swing low I will only risk a small amount but if I use a tighter stop I will buy a larger position...

In my opinion DPTR will hit 3$ by this time next year....... thats why I am still holding.

Perhaps if you had included his specific post on that it would have been clearer? Based on the fact that he had subsequently posted on a separate trade, your response was not necessarily to an earlier post - hence my confusion.

Like I said, try to read a little more next time. It was pretty obvious that I am talking about a trade that is still alive.
