in the past, when more good research was still freely available,
some chart porn suggested that, going into OpEx fridays, markets tended to go up.
 ==============================================================

Not in my book. At least not last week when I gave my initial "warning".
What went up were PUT premiums.

If you know what tripped you up this time, please share. I would like to know more about false flags, too.

I was lucky to be on the right side this time because some headlines read "Suddenly, everybody worries
about market crash", and then I remembered that the markets want to hurt the most people.

May I add a thought here. ZM is bouncing off support line. Could be a bottom . This could get interesting.

Nope. ZM not coming off a bottom.
As of today's open, It's already down to $268.
Hasn't been that low since Aug 2020.

 EDIT:
 Oh! But, no offense.
 Thanks for the chart.
 As always -- much appreciated.

This is not "euphoria". This time is different.
People aren't "euphoric" (i.e., mania), they're psychologically paralyzed.
They don't know WT* is going on, so they're not watching the rug being pulled from under them.
 This is sad - - -

Well this morning ZM broke below that support line I showed. I said it could as in might be a bottom. It failed.

Both of you are long-time members and experienced traders.
On the daily time frame, karennma was right about continuing ZM weakness.
Mactheriverrat was right about ZM support taking shape around 267 - 271 levels on shorter time frames.
Intraday, the bounce was $4 to $6 up within a matter of a few hours early this morning Sep 24, 2021.
Maybe a ZM bottom will form on the daily time frame next week.

In my mind, I've been trying to reconcile karennma's market views and the market's price actions.

I remember Dejan as a regular contributor to StageAnalysis.Net
Dejan used to post his manual count of Stage 2 stocks among the S&P 500
and used that count as a surrogate measure of market strength.
Unfortunately, his posts have stopped at the end of Dec 2020
and StageAnalysis.Net is now a paid service.

If Mactheriverrat is still a registered user of StageAnalysis.Net
perhaps Mac could tell us the latest market studies by Dejan or isatrader.

 Thanks.

@ Mac & Cheese, (no pun intended .. tee hee hee)

That's a good idea, Cheese 'cuz as you know, all my bad calls are posted here and this might be one of them. 😈
(and yes, I see ZM made a small bounce off of 269.)
