1/29/2018 2:05:23 PM Well, there goes AAPL .. again. I will be KIND and just say ..... I'm getting out of AAPL the first chance I get. Almost all the stocks in my portfolio are down (except 3). AMZNis one of the 3. Why I bought AAPL instead of AMZN is beyond me. I must've been drinking bad water that day. |

2/1/2018 6:34:57 PM JP & Mac, U guys sound like my rich uncle -- who died 45 years ago. When I was a kid, he used to say the same thing about AT&T, IBM and Ford. "T" is king, "F" is king, IBM is king ... ** Fast foward 45 years later .... ** At Xmas time, I bought a coat on Sears.com, but had to return it. The receipt said I could return the coat at KMart. But when I went to KMart, the cashier said she couldn't take the coat and I'd have to return it at Sears. When I complained about customer disservice, she apologized and said the computer didn't "recognize" the coat because ... her words ... "it's an IBM computer. Who uses IBM computers anymore." My point is, every stock has their day. T, F & IBM haven't split in years. If my uncle had bought those stocks 10 years ago, he'd die a poor man. AAPL isn't "king" anymore. AAPL's seen better days, and they're over. Those $700/shr. splits are a thing of the past. AMZN is king. AMZN is THE monster! The $1 Trillion Dollar Market Cap is coming soon! |
